Ok so i was just tellin Manny earlier how im soo frustrated with alot of things that have been going on lately! Im a twitter pro! and a social butterfly! So i see and read alot of stuff and i hear alot of stuff!
First let me say CONGRATZ TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WON AN AWARD AT OHHA,
When the Ohio Hip Hop awards came around alot of people were unfamiliar, and thats understandable because its not promoted real heavy. But there were no complaints until I started my lil shit "VOTE SSP BEST PROMO TEAM...." then niggas like well damn how so and so not get nominated how this how that how this how that. But shit it was hella niggas from CO nominated. Shout out SINATRA and HODGIE STREET! but people were gettin all salty and i serioulsy feel CO got something personal against the city of cleveland and its soooo lame to me. I love my cleveland fam! What ppl didnt realize is that you got the chance to nominate your fav artist and such. If you didnt vote ooh well! Now niggas holler'n its only 216 ppl on there and Ohio needs to be involed more. But i think the ballot was diversed! You cant get mad bc its alot of cleveland ppl on the ballot hell its ALOT more ppl in cleveland who do they thing and are KNOWN! Local unknown ppl cant get mad! STEP UP AND STEP OUT! thats all i have to say. Im not sneak dissin or nothin but i just feel like people are not lookin at the bigger picture! Live and Learn. so now you know that you need to network a lil more, met a few more ppl. PENTHOUSE you hustle so you kno that next year ppl gonna vote you on that ballot. Yea it was alot of ppl on there that i have never heard of but i can only imagin how many other ppl have heard of them!
Now this PROMOTION thing is a buisness and a big one at that! Its alot of people throwing parties and its alot of major competition out here. But its all in how u market your brand! There are alot of people who do parties just to make money and its alot of people who do parties to satisfy the people! but at the end of the day its a business and you cant get mad that people take they money serious! To my understanding its alot of people who think that people who are serious about how they invest they're money "arent for the people" but here at SSP we pride ourselve upon bringin life to the college experience with our parties. And if its such an issue and people feel that a specific team isnt for the people, then stop fuckin wit that team! move on. STEP UP and STEP OUT and bring the LIFE to the party that you feel is lacking! Throwing a successful party isnt easy and we all know this! But complaining isnt the way to address the matter. Dont just talk about it be about it! then its ON TO THE NEXT ONE (swizzy voice). Any business when money is involved and its heavy competition there is gonne be drama and some fake stuff goin on, but hell thats life! I feel if people start puttin on for they loyal customer and showin love to the people who show them love every week or whatever the case may be. You might do a lil better!
