Rod Dye:: BETTER NOW THEN NEVER
For some reason unknown to me, whenever I see a link to download or listen to a song, I jump on it. This is somebody that I want everyone to take the time out and listen to!
Rod Dye (born Rodirick Dye, currently 21 years old) is an up-and-coming music artist from Columbus,Ohio. Early in his elementary years, Rod Dye began to develop his writing skills that would eventually lead him to pursue a career in music. Throughout his years in grade school, Dye began to take an interest into spoken word. Poetry began to shape his distinct style. In the eleventh grade, Rod Dye recorded his first two songs "Get That Money" and "Tonight". Even though these two songs never reached a mainstream audience, Dye received good reception. Over the next few years, Dye recorded very sparingly while focusing primarily on his college education as he attended the University of Toledo. Over the next few years, he would become more inspired musically as he transferred to Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He began performing during "Open Mics" on campus. After his junior year of college, a family tragedy led Dye to become more focused musically. During this time, Rod Dye would begin to create his debut mixtape "Better Now Than Never". The Better Now Than Never Mixtape was released online for free download on September 1, 2010.
