So, everyone's favorite bad boy other than B.I.G. was supposedly released yesterday from jail and then was taken into custody by immigration. According to the NY Daily News:
The 30-year-old ex-protégé has a green card but is facing deportation to his native Belize because of his felony rap sheet, his lawyer said. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Mike Gilhooly would only say that Shyne was in custody for being in violation of U.S. immigration law.
Ain't that a bitch?
Other than that, there were rumors swirling throughout the Internet that Jay-Z went to visit Shyne in the penitentiary when he was still serving time to offer him a record deal. THAT WAS FALSE. Hova told Angie Martinez that the incident that was rumored to have happened never happened, BUT he wouldn't mind sitting down with him. Lets all hope Shyne is allowed to stay in the states.
